THE SILENT TEARS

                              Greetings dear readers! I know its been a long time since I posted , got a bit busy with studies....
       
                        As the title suggests , today's poem's an elegy (a somber poem). It's about a girl who mourns over her father's death. Among the poems I've written so far, this one is my favourite, because this poem poem got me the first pize at a versification contest.
                      People used to ask me , about what inspired me to write this poem. Of course , writers don't simply write things without getting inspired by something. It can be anything ranging from their experience or stuff they came across to a mere fairytale. Yeah ! I was inspired by Cinderella. That's what made me write this poem.
                          The poem speaks about the girl's agony on the loss of her dearest soul,her father. Without further ado, I present the poem before you.


                                       THE  SILENT TEARS

          She was twisting and tossing,
          On her little brown bed.
          The pain she was facing,
          While crying over the dead.

          She was so very sad,
          The pain was hard to bear.
          Now there's not a soul to care,
          For she had lost her dad.

          None to cut her nails,
          None to wipe her tear.
          None to tell her tales,
          None to call her dear.

          She cried out of fear,
          Yet, not aloud.
          They were silent tears,
          Like vapous in a cloud.

         All souls were gone,
         Now she was all alone.
         Why was she born?
         To be left forever forlorn...
